β€œπ‘ͺπ’‚π’π’•π’Šπ’„π’π’†β€ is a magical book. It reads as a love letter to the Church and Her role in maintaining humanity. That was actually one taught in my High School English department back in the day (unfortunately not in any class I took; I came to it later in my effort to read all the books I should have when I was young). One of the books I would bring with me if I were venturing out of civilization. I wish there was an acid-free archival hard copy (like Library of America quality) of this one.

β€œπ‘»π’‰π’† π‘·π’‚π’”π’”π’‚π’ˆπ’†β€ gets overlooked as nothing more than another Vampire Apocalypse book. But it’s SO much more. When an accomplished literary author takes on something bigger than mere navel gazing, you get a masterpiece like this. Truly an epic and underrated work.
